The 2006–07 DFB-Pokal season was the 64th running of the competition. 64 teams competed in the tournament of six rounds which began on September 8, 2006 and ended with the final on 26 May 2007. In the final, 1. FC Nuremberg defeated VfB Stuttgart 3–2 after extra time,[1] thereby claiming their fourth title. A 109th minute strike from Danish midfielder Jan Kristiansen won the game for 1. FC Nuremberg.
